Tine Philipsen, MD
We are honored to announce that Dr. Tine Philipsen, cardiac surgeon at UZ Gent, will present her insights on different aspects of LVAD at our upcoming symposium on 29 November at A Room with a ZOO in Antwerp.
Dr. Philipsen is a cardiac surgeon with specific interests in heart transplantation, ventricular assist devices, and mechanical support.
Together with her colleagues surgeons, perfusionists & VAD coordinators, she works out the VAD program at UZ Gent.
Dr. Philipsen will delve into the legal, clinical, and ethical aspects of LVAD in destination therapy, offering valuable insights into this complex and evolving field.
